Mission Statement
The Counseling Center supports the educational mission of CSM by promoting psychosocial and cognitive development. We facilitate academic and personal success for all CSM students by providing resources that enhance and extend students’ learning and growth.
As an integral part of higher learning, student development encourages:
• the stimulation of self-understanding,
• the strengthening of life skills, and
• increasing knowledge in the five dimensions of student development:
Social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and physical.
